Big Changes at Socious – More Resources for Associations, Users Groups, and Nonprofits

By: Mr. Paul Schneider
Well you have probably noticed a few changes around here at Socious lately. Late last year we rebranded the company, we are no longer the men in black, we are the guys in green. We also have brought on a new Director of Marketing and Strategy that we will be announcing in the upcoming days.

Over the past year, we have worked hard to put out valuable resources that assist associations and user groups in making their online community successful. We have heard that many people are using these tools and guides and in 2011, we wanted to create even more. To help us create them, we have brought on new marketing resources and to help us get the word out quickly and easily, we are moving our blog.

In the past, this blog has been primarily my musings on online communities, social networking and related topics. You may still occasionally have to sit through some of that, but this blog is going to turn into a real powerhouse of information. What we have learned about planning for, implementing, rolling out and growing an online community will all be covered in much finer detail and with much more advanced resources.

In addition, the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 have seen astronomical growth for Socious due to the new features we have rolled out and the new products we now offer in the event management and mobile application areas. We wanted this blog to reflect what we have learned in those areas as well.

We are excited, and we know you will be too when you start to see the new resources designed to make you and your organization more effective. Here at Socious we have always put customer success above all else. We are excited to take that to a whole new level in 2011.
